Please follow these steps, in order, on each machine that you will use to prepare taxes
Step 1 - Prepare the Computer
If you have Windows XP follow these steps:
1. Install the RDP Client v6.1
- This client supports the remote application technology.
- Browse to the RDP Download. Download and install the file.
2. Install the .NET Framework 3.5
- This is required for the Universal Printing functionality.
- Browse to the .NET Framework. Download and install the file.
3. Reboot the computer after these have been installed.
If you have Windows Vista follow these steps:
1. If SP1 is not installed, download and install SP1 by following this link.
2. Install the .NET Framework 3.5
- This is required for the Universal Printing functionality.
- Browse to the .NET Framework. Download and install the file.
3. Reboot the computer after these have been installed.
If you have Windows 7 follow these steps:
No prerequisite installations are required! You are ready!
Step 2 - Download TaxWise
Browse to TaxWise RDP Client. Save this file to your desktop.
